An affiliate of Foster Chamberlain, Steve is currently the Chief Operating Officer of Tok2.us, LLC, a mobile marketing start-up focused on connecting consumers at retail with product information and live sales support. Prior to joining Tok2.us, Steve was the Director of Corporate Strategy and Development for AOL. At AOL, Steve led the M&A diligence process for 11 transactions (over $500MM in estimated value) with three fully executed: TechCrunch, Going.com, and StudioNow. Steve also worked with senior executives in developing strategies in mobile, e-commerce, instant messaging, real-time search, mapping, local, health, online video, virtual currencies, and gaming.
At Foster Chamberlain, Steve worked with a Fortune 500 chemical company to launch a renewable energy venture. He also worked on developing several opportunities in the consumer products space.
Prior to joining Foster Chamberlain, Steve founded Blue Marble Gear, LLC, a company that developed and patented innovative sports footwear. Previously, Steve designed and built optical test equipment for SVG Lithography Systems, a semiconductor equipment manufacturer. Steve also worked as a management consultant for A.T. Kearney in Canada and as a systems project manager for Hewitt Associates, managing large scale IT implementations in both the United States and Great Britain.
Steve holds an MBA in entrepreneurship and strategic management from The Wharton School, and a BS in mechanical engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute where he graduated with honors.
